This movie was poorly written and the plot borderline offensive. It's based on a true story which makes it worse. At one point the characters, referring to their life in the Afghan War say "This isn't real.
Remember that." The problem is, it is real. It's more than a backdrop for their second adolescents. Ridiculous. I heard the real life character on NPR the other day stating that these type of complaints are sexist.
She is ridiculously irresponsible and the movie at least captures that.
