Review of Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (2016) by Acacia — 09 Mar 2016
Four ladies went to see this movie and four ladies loved it. Based on a book written by Kim Baker about her adventures as a totally green rookie war correspondent when she left home for Afghanistan in 2003.
Her first night in country as she lays her head on a strange pillow in a strange land, you can see she is thinking, "What the hell am I doing here?" With an excellent supporting cast, our fearless correspondent becomes more confident as she learns the ropes and her way around a culture so different from her own.
It is not supposed to be a comedy, but there is lots of humor in this movie. We laughed out loud often. It was very enjoyable and entertaining.
