Review of Whirlwind (2007) by Roxanne R — 15 Dec 2012
Great film that depicts so well what jealous and bitter people do to others in order to see them fail. An attractive man named Drake was dumped by his boyfriend causing him pain, anger, resentment and bitterness.
In retaliation he tries to break relationships apart and steer his friends down the wrong path by manipulating them based on their insecurities and concerns. Kudos to the writer (Jason Brown) because the script was so good and the acting was nice as well.
This is a perfect example of a small budget film with talented people on and off camera that put together a wonderful film teaching us about life and to stay away from opportunistic people like Drake (David Rudd).
Regardless of your sexual orientation, this film will resonate with many folks. It was interesting from beginning to end, keeps you engaged and gives you plenty to discuss among friends after the film is over.
Highly recommended and available on Netflix!
