Review of Whiplash (2014) by Luis B — 29 May 2015
Much better than expected, Whiplash, more than anything, is a fun movie to watch, thanks to its fast pace and JK Simmons´ terrifying, yet curiously humorous performance. The one aspect that I did not enjoy was Teller´s performance as an arrogant and self-involved teen; he did not make himself likable, but rather a nuissance throughout the film.
