Solid film with some very fine and passionate acting. JK Simmons and Miles Teller were fantastic, and Melissa Benoist...tried, I guess.
But no, it's wonderfully filmed and follows an intriguing story. My only complaint maybe is that it tries to cover too much thematically and genre-wise. A few scenes could have been cut to further focus the film on its musical / sports / inspirational disposition, not all three. It was a mighty fine movie, nevertheless.
