The intensity and drama of Whiplash brings these wonderfully developed characters to life through hard charged dialogue and complex developments. J.K. Simmons gives the best performance of his career and Miles Teller breaks out as a star.
This is director Damien Chazelle's first full-length feature film which in my opinion is the best film of 2014.
