Absolutely riveting. A film that excels on every filmmaking level: acting, writing, editing, directing, and, of course, the score. "Whiplash" is easily one of 2014's most emotionally blood-pumping movies that tells an intense story about passion and pushing oneself to his or her potential greatness.
