Full Metal Jacket cringing instructor with an OCD drummer. This cannot possibly be an accurate true story (The ending).
Also, while I did find the Jazz music inspiring at times. Even thou it had intense drama, human sacrifice, and edgy dialog. I still felt something was missing. The music was lacking, or something was lost in translation somewhere. It is like a rocket scientist appreciating the polar affects of a transistor, while the audience doesn't get it. Maybe there was nothing to get.
