Review of Whiplash (2014) by Jamie J — 25 May 2016
Quite frankly one of the finest films I have seen in a long time, with a level of perfection, expertise, intensity and energy that reminds me just why I love film so much. Jk Simmons manages to play an absolutely convincing bastard in the horrendously obsessive teacher Mr Fletcher, but he is matched every step of the musical way by Miles Teller.
Simply not to be missed.
