Review of Whip It (2009) by Jesus H — 08 Sep 2010

I'll sum it up:

1. Nothing new here, same ol' plot different sport: unpopular kid learns about a new sport and gets real good at it while harboring a secret, with the usual happy ending. Only problem is, when I got to the end of this too long epic I really didn't care who wins. If you are into this kind of stuff go for it.

2. Ain't no way 'Juno' passes as 'Babe Ruthless' in my book.

3. Marcia was once (and still is) a foxy lady.

4. Best performance by Jimmy, responsible for 100% of the comedy in this flick.

5. Great tribute to roller derby! Made me look it up in Wikipedia.

6. Nice soundtrack.

7. I hope Drew does something better for her second effort.

8. BTW, I cant believe it scored 84% in RT.
