Review of Whip It (2009) by Adam B — 15 Feb 2011
It was entertaining enough, just not particularly original in any way at all. A typical teenage girl is forced to do something she doesn't enjoy by her mum, she finds something she does enjoy and luckily she has a hidden talent for it.
Everything goes wrong in the middle, but eventually her parents come round and remember to let their daughter enjoy herself. I'm sure I could find another 20 odd films with a similar outline to this.
