Review of Whip It (2009) by Tristan A — 19 Oct 2010
Whip It is somewhat similar to Juno, but with more bite and less run around all due to the evident presence of Ellen Page. We see a struggling teen trying to find an escape and Barrymore smoothly takes us through her route without any sense of exertion.
Kristen Wiig, Jimmy Fallon, Juliette Lewis, and Andrew Wilson all give great performances as well and the movie just furthermore supported my allure towards Ms. Page.
