Review of Whip It (2009) by Chrisee B — 09 Mar 2011

At first glance I see a girl who's bored out of her mind and very reluctant to be in a beauty pagent but her over bearing mother has practically planned her entire life out for her daugther and she seems to want to escape and try soething new and she does roller derby though in doing so she starts living a double life but it didn't get easy until she got caught due to her age and her parents didn't approve and her best friend spent a night in a cell but in a way things went from good to bad though in the end she found her place.

where she belonged plus she found something she loves and I gotta say Bliss is a tough monster who cuts through turns and corners like butter overall I enjoyed the film and it's a pretty funny romantic comedy and I love the fact the film is directed by Drew Barrymore and I quite enjoyed the small cameo by Jimmy Fallon and I thought the story was interesting plus what a great ensemble cast I look forward to seeing more film directed by Drew Barrymore in the future.
