I really enjoyed this. The central story arc is a little predictable and follows the same kind of trajectory as the few other sports movies I've seen, but you know what? I really don't care. Ellen Page is of course great, but so were most of the cast - particularly Kristen Wiig, Juliette Lewis and Alia Shawkat.
I've never been a huge fan of Drew Barrymore on screen (and I didn't think she was particularly great here either), but to pull this out of the bag in her first stint in the director's chair is pretty impressive.
