A classic, clean romantic comedy for the whole family. Sandra Bullock is truly loveable as Lucy, a young girl trapped in her loneliness who is wishing her life away instead of living it. It's hard not to fall for her girl-next-door charm and the film is often funny and heart-warming, thanks to her and the rest of the cast, particularly the Callaghan family.
Love-interest Bill Pullman is fantastic as Jack and you cannot help but root for him. Yes, the end is predictable but the road there is really enjoyable. A great film to watch during the Christmas Holidays or whenever you feel like you need some romance in your life.
