Holy crap. Glynis Johns is really the only good thing about this silly romantic comedy. I really feel like I liked this when it came out but wow! They really built this romance on nothing and it's hard to feel any sympathy for Sandra Bullock's character when she lied for no real reason.
You like the movie because of the family and some of the very funny moments but the romance is almost non-existant.
