Review of While You Were Sleeping (1995) by Kevin N — 20 Jan 2010
I thought this was an exemplary romantic comedy; I went in skeptical and came out enamored. It's impossible not to see how the world fell in love with Sandra Bullock after this film's release. She essentially plays the perfect woman here, every guy's dream girl, yet she remains totally believable even despite her illogical and often looney social decisions.
Of the many rom-coms of the 1990s, this may be the finest.
