Review of While You Were Sleeping (1995) by Mikael K — 15 Aug 2010
Sandra Bullock plays Lucy, a ticket-attendant who is orphaned and alone in the world witnessing her regular customer Peter (Peter Gallagher) who is also very handsome and doesn't know she exists getting mobbed and thrown onto the railroad tracks.
She heroically saves his life. Peter goes to a hospital and falls into a coma and everyone, including his family, believes Lucy is his fiancée. Lucy doesn't have the heart to tell them she isn't, especially because they are so nice and provide Lucy with the family affection that she has been missing even though she knows she is living a lie.
It gets real interesting when she slowly starts falling for the Peter's brother Jack (Bill Pullman). This makes for a love triangle impossible to not like.
