Review of While We're Young (2015) by Michael K — 24 Apr 2015
The movie is best epitomised up by the showdown scene between Josh and Jamie. Just before a speech by a man he supposedly idolises begins Jamie leaves the room to go stare out a window. Right, as you do.
He is confronted by Josh and they have their big dramatic moment. It is a bullshit moment. As contrived as the documentary they argue about. And in a nutshell that is the film. Obvious, fake and worst of all completely boring.
