That it's simultaneously wise and twee, consciously and haphazardly, is perfectly aligned with its greater themes. How refreshing it is to experience the studied recklessness of filmmaking for adults - however accustomed to, and comfortable the characters are, with their own adulthoods.

I'd wager it's those of us it charms and annoys in equal measure about (and for) whom it was made.
