Review of While We're Young (2015) by Lyn — 04 Jul 2015
I like Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts, and laughed at some of the wacky, self-deluding ways that this quintessentially New York couple tried to cope with their midlife crisis. But I felt that this turned into a different kind of film about 2/3 of the way through.
Less amusing, more cliched, and the emerging villainy of a certain character feels like a cheap shot. Have to say Adam Driver again shows himself to be an amazing talent, totally riveting and convincing in taking on the demands of any role he's given.
