Review of While We're Young (2015) by Andra — 18 Jun 2015
I am 20 minutes in and it seems like rude, hipster central. Half way in, still the same vibe but, after you get over the first 45 minutes of it, it slowly starts to show you the idea and "message" of the movie.
The movie isn't groundbreaking, it's the type that you watch when there is nothing else to watch or if you're 45yo and identify with it's characters. I think it somehow personifies the bridge between 2 generations, and it is suitable for both.
Most 20-somethings might find it boring, but if you keep watching it, it will make sense and it will also show you how your parents feel, the baby culture, the new-comers etc. It's a good movie, but not for everyone.
