Review of While We're Young (2015) by Brent_Marchant — 04 Apr 2015
What starts out as promising comes off the rails about midway through when a narrative in search of a point veers into pretentious, overly intellectualized babble masking as pithy insights. This effort clearly needs reworking to give it some much-needed focus more like that found in director Noah Baumbach's other more effective offerings.
It's unfortunate, too, given the pool of talent recruited for this production; they're never really given the opportunity to shine as they otherwise might have.
