Review of While She Was Out (2008) by Michael C — 01 May 2009
Uncreative and just plain unbelievable. Wasted another 90 minutes on a film that could have been much better. Not the first film to have a female character running from a group of thugs, but come on. How the mighty have fallen.
Kim Basinger is much better than this. Just because she is getting older doesn't mean that her acting ability has deteriorated with it. Lucas Haas can not and will not ever be a good actor. Everything in the script was forced and made no sense when it come to reality.
Just because this is a film does not mean that it should not have some sense of reality. Basinger even though older should not weigh more than 120 lbs. So that means that carrying a metal toolbox throughout the forest, while climbing up steep hills and mountains would tell you that four teen hoodlums would be able to catch up with her.
Nope, that's not the case. She is actually shown over powering some of the guys. Just all-in-all a horrible film.
