Review of While She Was Out (2008) by Josh F — 25 May 2009

Nothing special but what would you expect from a straight to DVD movie. The movie is just typical from the start. Mother gets beaten, and chased by criminals. Somehow, she finds the strength to take them all out.

All the performances are bad, except Kim Basinger who was decent. No one really shined but Basinger tried and it worked somewhat.

The story comes down to survival and it's interesting in parts. Some scenes are loaded with suspense while others drag on forever. The ending is pretty satisfying though.

Overall, you won't miss much with skipping this film. If you're a Kim Basinger fan, you've probably already seen it but that's who I would have to recommend this to.
