Review of While She Was Out (2008) by Marc H — 18 Aug 2009
Kim Basinger is appropriately cast as the battered housewife-turned-survivalist, but in this implausible thriller, the events never really seem to make sense in how they fall. And Lukas Haas is far less menacing than in his turn in "Brick".
After all's said and done, it's another attempt at crossing the brutality of Saw withthe woodsy perils of The Most Dangerous Game.
