Review of While She Was Out (2008) by Thedanneskjold — 04 Dec 2014
I created an account just for this film. It's that bad.
**Spoilers ahead**, although this is such trash I don't see why you'd care.
Of the seven men shown in this movie, five are killed by Basinger in mostly bloody fashion - only one of these killings is a blatant murder though, and since we're supposed to believe that all men are evil, sadistic, bumbling, arrogant idiots, it's okay to murder them. Because, FEMINISM!
Between leaps of logic, stretching a twenty-minute story over what feels like a twenty-hour long film, blatant misandry, plot holes, absurd unrealism in every aspect, and a script presumably written by the same scriptwriters of Troll 2, it really doesn't do feminist "entertainment" any favors. If you've got to be sexist, at least be entertaining.
So I give this a 1/10. Why not a 0? Because in my opinion, a movie can be bad enough to at least be fun to make fun of.
This isn't.
It is about as exciting as a colostomy bag, and full of the same thing.
