Review of Where to Invade Next (2015) by Anthony B — 26 Dec 2015
Michael Moore's new documentary, Where to Invade Next, begins with him telling the Pentagon Chiefs of Staff to step aside, and let him invade other countries in order to bring good ideas back to America: Italians who get up to eight weeks' paid vacation, yet have the same productivity as Americans.
French schoolchildren eating nutritious lunches seated around a dining table. Portuguese police telling Moore no one has been arrested for drug use for fifteen years. Inmates at a maximum security prison in Norway living with all the comforts of home, including sharp cooking knives.
Schoolchildren in Finland who have little or no homework, yet outperform their US counterparts. Free university education in Slovenia, with many courses offered in English so Americans and other foreigners can attend for free.
If even one of these measures is adopted in the US Moore will have perfomed a great service for his country.
