Review of Where to Invade Next (2015) by Justin T — 21 Feb 2016
It's been a while since we've seen Moore do what he does best, make a documentary and make us think. Where to Invade Next could almost be described as his most hopeful and happy documentary. Moore looks to other countries for problems we face in the US and he does it in a cheerful way.
There's no surprise interviews, or grandstanding corporations to get rid of ammunition sales. Its just Michael traveling the world, talking to average people and making fun us at how much better some of these countries have it then us.
I didn't feel like this documentary was faked or forced like some of his work, and most of all it let me leave the theater thinking about how I can improve the USA. And I think we can all use that in an election year.
