Review of Where to Invade Next (2015) by Ed M — 02 Jul 2016
Hilarious reviews. You can always distinguish the corporate stooges from the art critics. Corporate stooges write like they haven't been laid in years. They've a death grip on the failed policies of the "Chicago Boys," neoliberalism, writ large.
So much so that a light-hearted film the brings those failed policies center stage gets panned like it's a Pravda piece from Mother Russia. F*cking hilarious. This is an excellent, rare film that highlights good in everyone and reminds us we've more in common than we've differences of significance.
Ultimately, it's about how the reprehensible actions of governments will never destroy the will of the people, no matter how tyrannical and psychotic they become.
