Review of Where the Wild Things Are (2009) by Dan L — 18 Aug 2012
A rather eccentric take on a beloved children's tale. Spike Jonze chooses to use a slightly cacophonous tone, with a melancholic undercurrent. But in the end, it pays off, resulting in a beautiful film with a touching sense of friendship.
