This is one beautiful movie. I absolutely loved how realistic the monsters looked and wish more directors would take note as to how well CG is supposed to work. The blending of traditional costumes along with newer technology brings an awesome sense of realism to this fantasy.
The visuals are just a portion of what makes this great as the story is simple, yet very effective. It's a unique but at times welcomingly familiar tale.
