Review of Where the Wild Things Are (2009) by Scott A — 16 Mar 2013
It was okay, as I have read the book a LONG time ago, so I was curious about this film. The little kid is a straight up brat and right off the bat I didn't like him, so it makes it hard to care about the film when you hate the lead character.
The creature effects were great, but the games they played seemed far too violent with the little kid involved.
Ending tried to be sappy, but I just didn't care by then.
