Review of Where the Wild Things Are (2009) by Bradp — 15 Mar 2010
Yawn. A selfish kid full of self-pity goes to an unadventurous island inhabited by lame, unhappy, aimless "things" that are decidedly un-wild. Not sure how such psycho-babble nonsense was derived from the 9-sentence book.
The mom's worshipful gazing at the end is repulsive.
