Review of Where the Truth Lies (1999) by Jo B — 02 Mar 2008
This film is an entertaining enough 'sleazy side of showbiz' whodunit. Firth and Bacon do well, I think, but the leading lady fares better in the sex scenes, rather than when she has to actually act.
I'm planning on reading the book it was based on now. The film piqued my interest in the story - but at the same time didn't satisfy me enough plot-wise to stop me investigating further.
