Review of Where the Sidewalk Ends (1950) by Rachel B — 07 Jul 2009
Rugged cop with history of rough tactics inadvertantly kills a hood using his strong-armed approach and ensues a cover-up. Not my favourite film noir but entertaining and hard-edged. Great opening, with film credits written in chalk on the sidewalk.
