Review of Where the Heart Is (2000) by Reema A — 27 Jun 2008
Improbably whimsical, filled with winningly quirky characters and an AMAZING performance by Natalie Portman. Sometimes it loses itself in silly soap operatic subplots, but never strays too far from the heart of its subject.
Oh, but avoid the final ten seconds before the credits. I wanted to puke at its predictability.
