It's the factual 'Fear and Loathing' with Murray playing Hunter Thompson instead of his pseudonym / fictional protagonist Raoul Duke.
Regardless of other peoples views, the movie does go somewhere - bear in mind it's based on Dr Thompsons experiences, and he was, how to put this... 'off his face all the time'.
Murray does a great job in this, Depp's Duke's mannerisms, even his outfits sometimes are taken straight from Murray.
