Review of Where the Buffalo Roam (1980) by Patrick G — 11 Jan 2009
Ah, the near-forgotten first Hunter S. Thompson film! less visually advanced than its descendant, this film tells three tales of the Doctor's shenanigans. while F&LiLV's prime directive was to portray that particular story as innovatively as possible, that of WtBR was to re-create the common behavior of its protagonist. Bill Murray played him well, and the film's overall look and feel really looked and felt like the late 60s-early 70s.
If you call yourself a Gonzo fan, you must see this film.
