Review of Where the Buffalo Roam (1980) by Bill B — 30 Dec 2014
Excellent movie. Where the Buffalo Roam may not have the most coherent script (much to the dismay of Thompson), it actually captures the aura of a Thompson novel/adventure, and it's very funny, pretty insightful, and wild.
Murray delivers an incredible performance as Thompson, only to be later surpassed by an even better performance from Depp in the "follow-up" Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
