Review of Where the Boys Are (1960) by Scott R — 05 Apr 2014
The first real spring break movie that I know of. Pretty racy for its day. With scenes discussing sex before marriage and questions about the purpose of university education. Most of the movie is fun and campy, but it culminates in a rape scene that has a lasting impact.
It is reasonably well written and there is good direction, costumes and locations.
