Review of Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden? (2008) by Eric G — 09 May 2008
Interesting documentary where the journey is more important and interesting than the goal, which is just a pretext. Don't expect anything deep though!
The film doesn't take itself seriously, though tackling several serious themes. Unlike Sicko from Michael Moore in a similar genre, there is no revelation. Spurlock could have gone much further in explaining the political links/policies between the various countries, whether friends or enemies, and how they benefit the various parties.
Some good laughs.
