Review of Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden? (2008) by Robert H — 09 May 2008
Not surprisingly, this is not really about finding Osama, but about travelling to the Middle East and getting different perspectives on the 'war on terror' (whatever that means). After talking to 'normal' people in Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Israel, Saudi and Pakistan, the conclusion that most people want the same thing (peace, safety and education for their children) is expected.
However, it is interesting where the answers vary from the generalised view we have of countries in the region. Unusual for me, but I found some of the silly parts hilarious.
