Review of Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden? (2008) by Matt D — 06 Jun 2008
I'm a big fan of Morgan Spurlock and his documentary style and that's why I was utterly disappointed by Where in the World..? He obviously had a good idea that he wanted to explore and there are still some interesting interviews.
But there seems to have been a lot of tampering with the format and a lot of the time Spurlock has to act like a stupid person while he starts his haphazard search for Bin Laden while geniunely missing his pregnant partner at home.
And while he's wondering why he isn't there with her I'm with him surely thinking there's a better time to be pratting around in Pakistan than your girlfriend's third trimester. Still worth a watch though if not for a bit of perspective on the Iraq war.
