Morgan makes entertaining documentaries, if egocentric ones. This time the dude literally goes hunting himself some Osama. And the best title sequence ever award almost goes to this documentary. What can beat Spurlock and Osama fighting in an imagined video game?

Okay, it was pretty obvious from the start that he wasn't going to find him, but that was never the point. The reason he traveled was to talk to the people of the many regions where terrorists still reign, or at least have some influence. Turns out they are not all hideous monsters. Who would've known? Except those strange, hostile rabbis. They were pretty scary.

There's a bit too much of the token "let's all get along" message in the documentary that really didn't need saying aloud. And the weird pregnancy angle was also baffling. Who leaves his preggers wife to travel months in the Middle East? Somebody is collecting sympathy points here!

Well, as long as he keeps making these films, he has my permission to do it the way he chooses. These documentaries hopefully help, even if marginally, to alleviate the misguided beliefs of people throughout the world. Islam is not bad per se, that is just what the powers of be want you to think.

Still, make no mistake, this film is more about Spurlock than anything else, and doesn't really teach anything new.
