Review of Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden? (2008) by Troy D — 07 Sep 2008
Sophmore jinx? No! It definitly isn't as water cooler worthy as Super Size Me nor is it as engaging as his brillant show 30 Days. The thing that didn't sit partucularly right with me was the premise and its execution why couldn't he wait until his wife gave birth to their child before going off on his recklous global man hunt for Osama.
But this is where Spurlocks charm as an every man wins over the audience and makes up for his follies as filmmaker this time around. The documentary is decidly hit or miss but still entertaining and the lighter take is refreshing considering this is well traveled material.
