Review of Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden? (2008) by Sushanna M — 08 Sep 2008
I think the overall theme was cheesy. I mean, why risk your life to find someone who is apparently non-recoverable and you have a wife/girlfriend with a baby on the way back home? i'm like..ok you want to help make the world a better place for your kid even though finding and or killing bin laden will solve nothing because he really is "just one man" among god/dess/allah/whathaveyou knows how many? even if he found bin laden and died in the process, his kid's world would still be just as messed up AND he would be without a father.
so that whole theme was lame and I subtracted one star even though he figured this all out eventually. the movie gets four stars though for the fact that this man still had the balls to travel to some of the world's most dangerous places, the interviews were candid, good questions were asked, and valuable information obtained.
xenophobia will be the death of us all, I swear. knowledge is power.
