Mr. Spurlock is of course selective with his material and the movie is a little diffuse in his wanderings through various countries. Still, it gives a very interesting lens of some misunderstood places and importantly humanizes those who are too often rendered in obtuse and misleading ways in political discourse.
One consistent theme is that people in other countries seem to love the American people but despise American foreign policy. I think I can sympathize with that...
