Review of Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden? (2008) by Steve F — 30 Aug 2009
There is an underlying intelligence to this movie that may not be apparent at first: the search for Osama bin Laden is not what this movie is about. Instead we have a movie that is about putting a human face on a region wrought with conflict and poverty, and meeting people who aren't as different from us as the media portrays.
A lot of harsh stereotypes are dealt with, and Spurlock's good humour makes this an enjoyable watch.
