Review of Where in the World Is Osama Bin Laden? (2008) by Joel N — 11 Jan 2010
Shows a side of the conflict not often seen in media--the civilian people. It shows what attitudes and circumstances might confuse someone into doing something they might not otherwise do, like joining a terrorist cell or, even, running off to film a documentary about a man on the most wanted lists.
Morgan finds a lot of laughs in a subject not really suited for comedy.
I was surprised to find the film doesn't push a typical agenda, and that the main argument is one of cultural understanding, and to find ways to understand each other without the involvement of the usual channels.
